Spotify on sonos looses connection constantly

Hi, got a sonos play 1 and set it up with my spotify account, that worked fine until the latest sonos upgrade after which sonos started to "loose connection to spotify" too often.

I have tried :
- unplugging my router and sonos for 30 seconds or more and then retry
- removing / adding spotify account from both iphone sonos controller and windows sonos controller. Actually the only way to be able to add the account is to set the google dns servers in my current wifi connection (note NOT the router config, for some reason the router will restart after me changing the dns thus not allowing me to change it)
- with the dns set for my connection, iphoe controller works sometimes and others it will fail to play saying it lost the connection
- note also the spotify ios app will not present any problem and play flawlessly on the iphone, with or without the google dns

Should i be expecting a fix in the form of a sonos upgrade anytime soon? Dns seems to help but not consistently...
