My Question or Issue

 Spotify restarts randomly when playing.

Usually it happens at the end of a song, so instead of jumping to the next song Spotify restarts (Spotify logo appears, and lands me on the home screen of the app, with no song playing)

I have already did a reset on my TV a week ago, and after that the issue dissapeared for a few days, but now it came back.

I do not get any specific message when this happens, it's all of a sudden and totally random.

My internet connection is stable (500 Mbit/s) and this issue does not happen on Spotify app for PC.

I also have no issues with other apps on the TV (Netflix and Plex can play hours of movies without issues)

This issue began a few weeks ago

Hey @Nico,

Yes ocasionally it still happens.

In the last few cases Spotify from my TV just asked for login after a random song finished playing.

Could it be that this issue is somehow linked to my phone that kills the app in the background?

Hmm, I'm not sure.

Have you tried updating the firmware on your TV? If not, please check if there is an update for your TV.
