Starred playlist shows up twice in web player

Starred playlist shows up twice in web player

Since the Starred playlist feature has been removed from the desktop and Android versions, two Starred playlists show up in the spotify player (see first pic). Is this a bug or did I do something wrong? I don't have this problem with my desktop application as you can see on the second screenshot. Can you help me please?

Hey there!

No worries, we're here to help.

Try clearing your browser's cache/cookies.

That should do the trick.

I tried that today, but it didn't work. I think there is something corrupt with my user data (maybe even directly in the database). Is there a possibility to speak to technical staff at Spotify because of this?

That happened to me too. It's a bug. Just don't deleted any of them, since you may lose both playlists.

 

Eventually one of them should disappear.

Thanks osornios. How long did it take until one of them disappeared?

Which one disappeared? The old starred playlist or the other one which is generated automatically because of the update?

I don't remember exactly. Probably one month.

 

I still have the one with the star. The other one disappeared.

 

I must note that when I wanted to add songs, I added them to the starred one. I basically ignored the other one.

Okay, I think this wouldn't be a solution because the one with the star isn't there anymore in the Android and Desktop client.

 

Yes, I've ignored the playlist without the star until now, too. Thanks for the quick response 🙂
