Stream songs from spotify to a wireless speaker

I would like to know if a premium account is necessarily required to stream songs from spotify to a wireless speaker with the feature Spootify Connect ? I am searching for almost 2-3 hours now and I don't manage to find a clear answer. Thanks a lot in advance to everyone who can help me !

Yes, you need to have Spotify Premium to use Connect for your wireless speakers.

Thanks ! Another question: can I stream songs from spotify to my wireless speaker with airplay and without a premium account ? Or, should I have a premium account too ?
