The Unwanted Ghost of Carl Ruggles

The Unwanted Ghost of Carl Ruggles

On the Spotify desktop software using Windows 7, I did a search and found Carl Ruggles a twentieth century American composer. Adding his music to my playlist, I would click the album to hear each song play. However, when I played another composer’s album and a song would end, instead of continuing to the next song Ruggles’ album played instead. Frustrated, I temporarily deleted Ruggles music and after another albums song finished, to my shock, Ruggles songs played again. The ghost of Ruggles is driving me nuts. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I uninstalled the desktop software and reinstalled it to see if it would resolve my problem and it did. However, when I went to the spotify.com site to download it Google Chrome showed me this warning:

I went to CNET and downloaded it from that site, scanned it with Norton anti-virus and Spybot; both said it was safe. What is going on with Spotify download site?
