This post on "why can't I find the music I'm looking for": https://community.spotify.com/t5/Spotify-Answers/Why-can-t-I-find-the-music-I-m-looking-for/ta-p/875...
basically says to go to this post:
https://support.spotify.com/ca-en/article/Content-missing/
Which basically says "yeah, keep checking, we're always adding music"
But I don't see it happening. Love Rollercoaster by the Red Hot Chili Peppers wasn't on any of their albums, and the versions that come up are all wrong. None of them are this version: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uUNN0B7zPi0&feature=emb_logo
And since the song is 25 years old, I don't think Spotify will add it at this point. They really need to make it easier to submit suggestions like this. And this messageboard/forum is super awkward. Took a long time to navigate to this point 😉
...and I'm guessing about 6 people will ever read this, so I'll see myself out

Hey there!
Spotify is always adding music however, this can come down to licensing which is out of Spotify's control, these decisions are made by Artists and their Labels/Distributors who can select platforms to release on and also their licensing terms which Spotify must comply wit.
Bare in mind labels/distributors and artists can change their licensing terms for each individual song or album at there discretion. Your feedback is highly important, I've logged this with the correct teams at Spotify and they'll take this in to consideration.
Take care!

Jumping in to this thread to say that, 4 years later, we still need this incredible song on Spotify.
Was just trying to find this on spotify and was shocked that this isn't available! Such a great song! I hope it gets added soon.
Hello!
This is all pretty standard knowledge, but thanks for taking the time. I understand that Spotify doesn't have permission from the owner (possibly the creators of the Beavis and Butthead soundtrack?). It is also clear that, given the age of the song, Spotify probably places a low priority on it to seek out the permission. So in a nutshell: it's not coming.
You can accept the above as a solution.
This answer would have been more honest and shed light on things, as well as offered the user some closure. It may not be what we want to see, but it's honest and not from the Spotify handbook.
The also need to add Eskimo by RHCP.
