Thumbs Down No Noticeable Effect (Web Player - Chrome)

Hi there,

 

  I'm new to Spotify; so far, I'm loving it.

 

  One thing I've noticed though: If I'm playing an artist radio station in the app (iPhone) I can 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down' it. These both seem to work perfectly, and 'thumbs down' skips the track, which makes perfect sense to me.

 

  The issue is in the Spotify web player: 'Thumbs up' responds by saving the track to my library - fine. 'Thumbs down'? Nothing. No response; no pop-up/toast; no triggering a skip of the track - nothing at all. Why is this? Does this affect anyone else? I'm using a very recent Chrome (version: 68.0.3440.75).

 

  Any feedback would be much appreciated!

Sorry to hear you're having issues with dislike button. I'll try to help you 🙂 but I'll need a bit more info:

 

-Does this also happen in the Desktop version? (not web player)

Hi there Jose,

No, this issue is not present in the Desktop version; it is only present
in the Web Player.

Now I perfectly know what you're talking about. It also happens to me, it must be a bug. The good thing is they will probably fix it soon. I reported this issue in the "ongoing issues" board. You can see it here. I hope they can fix it soon 🙂
