I have bought a logitech squeezebox radio, and I tried to use spotify on it.
Im using the facebook account to login to it.
I have tried using this page: https://support.spotify.com/us/learn-more/faq/#!/article/connect-devices
to get a new username and password, but it wouldnt work.
It says: A problem occured while logging in to invalid username or password.
How do I solve this?
Ive tried using it on my symbian phone, and it works perfectly.

Yeah, I got the e-mail and made a password. But when I tried to typing it on my squeezebox the error message accured. (A problem occured while logging in to invalid username or password.)
You're using the all-numeric username and you do have an active premium subscription?

Read the links, but that didnt work either.
I found out that the previous owner of the sqeezebox, did get spotify to work. But he might not have been using a facebook account to login... Im not sure.

It should work! Does your password have any special characters in it? (since some systems can't parse them correctly)

Nope no special characters . I have tried making passwords with just numbers, a mix between numbers and characters. but nothing works.
I don't know the current squeezebox range but is there some way of doing the equivalent of a factory reset and updating firmware?
Yep, there is. And Ive tried that to, several times.
I've asked for some staff input on this incase Joe and I are missing something obvious! 😉

Hi Arlid86 - You've actually got two accounts with us.
One was made with Facebook and is Premium. The other has a Spotify username. Let's get you set up on one account to avoid confusion.

I'd like to connect my Squeezebox with my Spotify Account and already found the page where I can create my device password (https://support.spotify.com/se/learn-more/faq/#!/article/connect-devices)
The problem is that there is no password sent to my email account. I tried it several times and of course I also checked my spam folder but there is no email with a password. I am (recent) premium user.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂
If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they should be able to get one of those emails out to you manually.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
