Two Qs on the Volume Normaliser function

Two Qs on the Volume Normaliser function

1. When listening to Spotify through speakers or an external streamer is the volume normaliser disabled?
2. Am I right in my presumption that in order to get to how the artist/producer originally wanted you to hear their material it should be disabled. Obviously accepting that the volume levels may fluctuate between albums.
Thanks

Hi there @ajnaqvi

Thanks for reaching out. For the first question, as you can see here, audio settings don't apply when playing through Connect. For the second question, we cannot really provide a conclusive answer. One can say that any manipulation of the sound changes the original recording to some degree, but does that include changes in volume? That all comes down to preference.

Hope this helps.
