Unable to find freinds or Playlists

I have search the forums and no solution.

I have stood next to a friend and we have both attempted to add each other without success.

We have even created obscure playlist names and searched for them... even 1 week, 2 weeks 3 weeks later... we are unable to find each others playlists and/or user names.

We have tried via mobile, desktop (windows) and web browser.

Please, what is happening??

is like yyou can only add people who you have linked on facebook... if that is the case it should be made more clear.
