Unable to remove songs from Discover Weekly

I'm on the premium plan, using the Windows desktop app version of Spotify.  I'm trying to remove a song from my Discover Weekly playlist, since it's been there before and I didn't think much of it the first time.  The button to do this has been removed.  I can find old posts explaining where it is, and it's not there any more.  How do I remove this song from my playlist?

I logged out multiple times and logged back in. Still not working on OSX with the latest version. I tried clearing cache too. Doesn't work on Chrome either.

I have the (stupid?) feeling that there is a kind of artificial intelligence behind the app that observes which songs I mark as like/dislike in the Discover Weekly, and as a consequence improves the selection of songs in the playlist fitting better my personal liking. But there I may be wrong...

All of the songs I don't like, I simply select "go to artist" page then select "dont play this artist". As of now I don't care if I will ever like one of these artists songs. I am annoyed that I cant enjoy listening to new music without preventing listing to music I don't like.

I keep going to this thread every week since this remove button disappered and it's pretty frustrating that don't have any updates yet. Before that Discover Weekly was the category that I've listened 80% of the time every week in the background.

Usually I removed from it about 1/5 songs that I don't like at all, but it always had 3-5 songs from new artists which goes to my main playlist and about 3/5 songs were okaish to listen them in the background while working.

It was the my main source of new songs, artist and genres, but I can't use it any more like this, because I can't remove songs without blocking whole artist forever, so it's basically unusable as main background playlist any more.

I really hate this update, whoever did it just ruined my music discovery routine which I had for years.

My Question or Issue

On the Desktop version, I cannot hide or remove a song from the Discover weekly playlist. I have cleared the cache and I run the latest version of Spotify for MacOS. Also, when I hide a song from the mobile version iOS, the song I hid is still visible in the Desktop version.

Mods just merged this into a black hole to try and hide the conversation. Don't let up.

They are intentionally forcing us into having to listen to AI drivel and of course drive up interactions with the application... By making us manually turn off that garbage.

It's still present on the iphone app.  It's present on Release Radar.  Bring it the **** back for discover weekly!

There used to be a "minus" button in Discover playlists. That button and the "+" (add) button was essential for me to keep track of the songs I've discarded/added and the ones I was unsure about and needed some more listening to decide.
I assumed it was also used to adjust the algorithm (minus = dislike) but if it was removed so easily I guess that wasn't the case.
Please bring it back 🙏

Every week I want to check out the discover weekly playlist I'm reminded of the fact that this feature is still broken.

I want to love you guys and discover new great music with your app like you meant it originally. But with this feature gone I can't do it properly. 

Please make this fix a priority. Thanks.

I'm posting pretty much every week on this same issue. Can Spotify please just progress the "fix" and restore the "-" button on discover weekly??  It is so frustrating.

Guys, I have just been possessed by the spirit of Nostradamus, and the spirit wants me to communicate this to you: " You will never get that button back again. And whoever thinks that the button will come back is a silly goose".

Please, if any mods are still watching this tread for new information please correct the information that the spirit has channeled trough me and come back to us with a date for when the button will come back to us, otherwise we will have to agree with the spirit that the button is forever gone, and it resides now in the spirit lands with the rest of the spirits.

If someone would come here and say that they have reached out privately to Spotify through a connection, would you be able to believe them? Without having proof for this? 

Then again, who from Spotify would be willing to burn itself to divulge secret information? And without proof that this information is indeed coming from someone from spotify, it is impossible to be believed.

That is precisely why the fact that the spirit of nostradamos communicated this information through me is a lot more believable than anything which would come through any other means besides a mod coming and actually telling us when the button will come back.

I cannot find "Hide this Song" on the desktop app for Windows or my mobile app for iOS. Was this option removed? I'm severely triggered by some music and have been trying to hide the albums/songs as spotify suggests them. Today, the option doesn't seem to be available.

I also do not have a "-" or a "Hide this Song" option in Daily Mix(es) or Discover Weekly. The "-" option shows up in Release Radar but in the past that hasn't kept songs from popping up in other areas.

And yes, I've supported the idea... from 2019... to implement a "Don't Like Button"
