Unable to set as default music player in Google Home

Hi 

I tried setting Spotify as the default Google Home music player, but it keeps failing.

I am able to link my account to the Google Home App. When I select "Change default" program, and select spotify, the settings are not updated.

We have experienced a similar problem, although in our case Spotify did not show in the provider list.

We solved it by changing the Phone Language to [US english] as we are located in Norway, applying the settings and switching back.. Hope this helps

Yes. I think this will solve the problem. I have found a similar answer elsewhere, but haven't yet tried it out.
