Unable to use Spotify on Sonos

Unable to use Spotify on Sonos

I am unable to use Spotify on Sonos:

- I have Spotify Premium

- I have authorized Sonos to access my Spotify account

- As far as I can tell, I do not need a device password (logged on through Facebook, version 4.2 of Sonos)

 

Any ideas?

The Sonos page indicates that facebook users need to obtain a device password so they can log in with their numerical username. Has this changed?

I had set a device password, but it did not work. A small workaround fixed the problem though: I logged out of spotify on my browser, then added Spotify in Sonos. That way I could log in using my device username rather than my facebook credentials. It failed on the first attempt, but succeeded on the second 🙂

Ah awesome. I know theyre have been some problems at the Sonos end of things but glad you managed to get logged in 🙂
