[Unspecified] where on your mobile device does spotify store offline playlists?

does anyone know where spotify stores online playlists? I have an HTC phone as one of my devices. It has a very small memory but I have a 2gb micro SD card as well. I am thinking of getting a larger micro SD card, poss 16gb but no point if spotify doesn't store the offline tracks on the micro SD card and goes to the phones internal memory instead. 

Can anyone advise me on this before I buy a micro SD card that turns out to be of no use?

Same question here. I will purchase a large SD card only if Spotify can put my offline music  there.

I'm not 100% sure as I don't own any android devices. I know that on my blackberry it is stored on the memory card.

Is this for Android devices? If so, it's in the wrong board. Let me know, and I'll change it. 

Spotify generally would cache offline playlists in the most appropriate place, with the most space. For example, on one Android device I use, it saved offline playlists to the SD Card. However, here on the community, we have seen a majority of reports of people having their Spotify playlists caching to their internal memory.

Currently, there is no option to set where the cache is saved. However, we're looking to bringing this functionality to the app in the future.
