Just as how Spotify initiated, suscribers should be allowed to access their accounts using a username linked to their emails and not necesarily their email adress.

As for example:

Instead of having to type marcos@hotmail.com, suscribers should be allowed to sign in by using their desired username, lets say, Marcos22. 

Spotify currently only allows you to create a user and access it by using your email adress. I do not understand why did the old and regular system changed. It is very practical and it allows us users to have a simple access to our accounts. Instead, they  currently choose a random username for you, that consists in a series of letters and numbers, as for example: s3f445545rrr333; which lacks any purpose at all for us suscribers.
