[WP7] Can't add to a collaborative playlist

My friend shared a link with me to a collaborative playlist he created. This isn’t the first time we’ve shared a playlist, but this time it won’t let me add any songs or edit the playlist. I’m not doing anything differently from the previous times we’ve shared playlists, just this time it’s causing difficulties. Any ideas on what to do?
