[WP8] Wifi not used by app leading to high data usage on 4g

Hi all,

I was listening to spotify on Extreme quality and thinking it was connected via Wifi. At least the phone was connecteed all the time (very stable connection) and the icon for wifi was shown. However, i used up 800 mb (all my data for this month) in this one session. Why does it not use Wifi when it is available? Can I make sure it is connected to wifi sonehow? I am scared to use it now...

System:

WP 8.1 (update 2) on Microsoft Lumia 640 LTE

Is there a way to get in contact with Spotify support, since posting here doesnt seem to help? It seems there is no way of contacting spotify at all??

I am really annoyed, since I still cant use my Windows phone to play spotify, because it secretly consumes all my 4G data instead of the available wifi connection!

Help is very much appreciated.
