My Question or Issue

When I try to play a song with the API on the SDK, half the time it gets stuck on 0 seconds (doesn't play no matter what) and when it works it breaks down about 10 mins later and gets stuck where ever the song was (most of the time its the first seconds of a song). In the SDK javascript console the json says 'paused: true'.

 

I tried many alternating sequences of adding to the queue, skipping, playing, pausing. I can't seem to get it to work.

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

 

Could you try using a different browser and an incognito/private window to see if this behavior persists? We'd also like to know if that only happens with the web player or the desktop app as well.

 

Additionally and if possible, try using a different connection to see how it goes.

Somehow passing in a device id to both the queueadd and play functions fixed it.
