Web Player bandwith is not working as it used to

Hi everyone!

I've been using spotify since it was released and I'm having a problem today with the way Spotify web player is using my bandwith.

I'm guessing I'm not the only one using the webplayer because of lag issues with the client (Yes, I live in a place where I can't have more than 2MB download). So I used the webplayer because it streamed to a constant 20 kb/s download rate, that way my connection never peaked up and caused lag.

But as I was working this morning with the computer I realised I was having lag. I checked my bandwith usage and everytime a song started the web player creates a high peak download as the client does (and did always).

Is there any option to make the bandwith usage work as before?

Is this intended or a bug?

I'm really sad this changed as I always have the webplayer opened day to day.
