My Question or Issue
When running Spotify Web Player from Chrome on my PC, I have two problems with my Chromecast connection.
(1) It always takes at least 3 attempts to connect to my Chromecast device.
(2) After connecting, everything works fine for a while (15-30 minutes), then the Chromecast connection just drops -- meaning I have to reconnect, and we're back to issue #1.
I don't have this problem using this PC with Chromecast on any other websites. I don't have this problem when using Chromecast with the Spotify app on my phone. It's only from my PC and only on Spotify Web Player.
Am I doing something wrong? Any solutions would be appreciated.
Hey @jeffhpc1.
Let's try clearing your browser's cache and cookies or using an incognito window to see if it behaves the same. Also, you can try using a different Spotify account if possible.
I also suggest restarting your internet router as it could help with this issue.
