Hello guys,
I've been facing an issue that's affecting my nerves.
For about 3 weeks i've been trying to play music on Spotify through my web browser (Chrome) but it keeps skipping the songs from a playlist without playing it. When it stops skipping, it start playing the song but stops after 9 seconds.
I've already tried to clean the cache and history and it didn't work.
Did anyone have the same issue? Or does anyone know how to solve it?
Thank you very much!
Best regards,

@Nico
I solved it by unistalling the current Browser i had and downloading it again.
It was probably a problem caused by the lack update of it.
Thanks for the help!
Hey @Tiago_Navarro! Welcome to the Spotify Community. ^^
I'm sorry to hear that.
Have you tried to open the web player in the incognito mode of your Google Chrome to see if that helps?
And be sure to check your browser for updates, maybe there is one available.
Let me know if that helps, thanks! ^^
Peace
Hello Nico! Thanks for the reply!
Yes i've tried incognito already and the same thing keeps happening.
As that Mac is from my work, unfortunately i only have Chrome and Safari available here, and Safari does not support Spotify, which means i cannot try on another browser.
Hmm, could you try asking your works IT department if they've enabled some speical firewalls in your works network? Something like this could block the web player. ^^
Peace
Hi @Nico
I tried asking a colleague from work if the same happens but it seems to work fine on him. Which means it cannot be firewall since we share same network ;/
Is he using the same browser like you?
If not, try to download the browser he is using to see if that helps. ^^
Peace
Yes Nico, it's the same browser.
We cannot use other browsers than Chrome and Safari.
I've escalated your issue to the support.
I will reply on this thread with help soon. ^^
Peace
Hey @Tiago_Navarro!
Could you ask your colleague to log into your account on their Mac? This way I can determine if it's a device or a account related issue. ^^
Peace
I have exactly the same problem with the webplayer in the Opera browser.
I am on Mac OS 10.9.5
... it was working fine a couple of months ago.
