Web Spotify skiping tracks

Web Spotify skiping tracks

The web version started skipping tracks. I turn on any album or playlist and it just skips the first 7-8 tracks, and plays as if nothing had happened. Reason for skipping: This track is not available. How can I fix this?

Could you share a screenshot of what you are seeing? You can also try the same steps on another platform, like the desktop or mobile apps. 

 

See if the songs are playable on other platforms. If they are grayed out, please check the app settings and enable Allow Explicit Content

 

If the above does not help and this happens only on a few specific albums, this could be related to content accessibility. The content availability on platforms like Spotify depends on the licensing deals. The copyright owners can decide to take down their content or restrict them in certain regions.

 

In such cases, there is not much Spotify can do. Once the deals are back in place, you should be able to stream it in the app as usual. For more info about this, you can check out Missing Music or Podcasts.
