My Question or Issue

I can't open either Web browser or the desktop app for Chromebooks. It always pops up as the link has been removed, or it takes ages to load the page. I haven't seen another post like this. I tried to delete then reinstall the desktop app back on to my desktop, but the site hadn't allowed me to download it again? The other links for other platforms work, but not Chromebook? Anyone else experiencing problems? Help?

Welcome to the Community and thanks for reaching out!


Right now the desktop app version is not supported on Chromebooks. You should be able download Spotify from the Google play store instead.


When it comes to the web player, are you able to open it in an incognito window or using a different network?


We'd also recommend checking if you have the latest browser version. You can even take a look at this page for more steps to try.
