Web player: Playing an ad consumes a lot of CPU which leads to a browser crash

Operating System: Fedora and Windows 10 (doesn't matter, appears on both)

Browser: Firefox and Google Chrome (doesn't matter, appears on both)

Player: Web player

After I play a few songs, sometimes there are longer ads with 30 seconds and sometimes there are ads with just 2 seconds (with some sounds from spotify). No matter what kind of ad, sometimes (not always) the player stops playing the ad and then the browser gives feedback with a notification of hangup. I completely need to restart the tab because the browser process of this tab is frozen. On Fedora the whole OS is frozen and I even need to restart because I can't even move my mouse any more. Nightmare!

I guess this has to do with high CPU usage or high memory and only happens while playing ads. I can easily play a few songs after each other without problem.

As already mentioned, the OS and browser doesn't matter. Happens everywhere!
