[Webplayer] Removing a track while playing

[Webplayer] Removing a track while playing

Removing a track from the currently playing playlist (be it the currently playing track, or any other) will make the playlist jump to the very first track of the playlist, regardless of where you were previously. This is while the shuffle is OFF.

While the shuffle is ON and you remove a track, the current queue gets replaced by a shuffle of the first few songs in the playlist.

Hey @jarjarblinks, help's here.

To get a better understanding of this, we'd like to have some more info.

First, make sure your web browser is up-to-date. Also try different browsers and incognito window and see if the issue persists.

If it does, let us know:

  • Your browser version
  • Your device and OS
  • Where does this happen (queues, what playlists)? A screenshot would be helpful.

Keep us posted 🙂

Hello @Jemi,

  • Your browser version: Google Chrome Version 70.0.3538.67 (Official Build) (64-bit). I've also tried this in Chrome icognito, and Firefox 62.0.3 (64-bit)
  • Your device and OS: PC, Windows 7
  • Where does this happen (queues, what playlists)? A screenshot would be helpful: This playlist: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7885TgJhPA8hb3tusifaQ6 . I've also tried on another playlist, exact same results: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1fccwDJYUIrRqQGNBvVpXn . What would you like a screenshot of? I've written down the steps because it's easy to reproduce. Make a playlist with a bunch of songs, play it, then delete any track from the playlist and the queue will change.

P.S. Found another bug: if you go from the queue to the currently playing playlist, the screen will go grey and remain like that; songs are still playing. If from the queue yo go to another screen besides currently playing playlist there's no issue.

Hey there @jarjarblinks,

Thanks for getting back in touch with these details.

If possible, we'd suggest logging in the web player with a different account to see if the issue persists. This way, we can double check if this is an account related issue.

We'll be keeping an eye on your reply 🙂
