When phone turns off spotify logs out, deletes offline songs

I'm beginning to get extremely frustrated. I am running the newest IOS software and updated app, but this has happened to me over 4 times in the last 2 weeks. I'm considering just cancelling my subscription due to the fact that I am wasting money. Sorry to sound so bitter but to download over 3000 songs takes awhile then as soon as I turn my phone off, everything gets deleted and when I open the app it's as if I had just downloaded it the first time.

I tried to just not turn my phone off but that's just not practical just for my spotify songs. I don't understand. Any help would be greatly appreciated, this has been by far my favorite app for music and I'd hate to have to try to find something else. Am I doing something wrong?
