Where is the Spotify Connect Adaptor?

I have used Chromecast almost daily since it became available, but I would not have gone out and bought a new $1000 TV to get it. 

Spotify Connect is a brilliant idea. But there needs to be an adaptor -- like the Chomecast stick -- so people can actually use it. The vast majority of Spotify users will not go out and buy a new receiver just so they can use it. And only a tiny sampling of receivers can use it anyway.

Has anyone heard of such an adaptor being released? Such a product would be an absolute home run!

I was just thinking this - I don't know why they haven't partnered with a manufacturer and sell a cheap Spotify Connect box.  There is a Kickstarter though out there that is building one - it looks promising but as always with Kickstarter you can't even buy one yet and can only pre-order one.
