Why do i have ads on my podcasts even with premium?

This has only been a recent issue for me (the last 2 months maybe), but it's been a constant thing with every podcast I listen to.

Each time I go to listen to a podcast, it opens up immediately with a 1-2 minute ad, then periodically sometimes in the middle of sentences another 1-2 minute ad starts playing.

If I pay every month for "no ads" how come I'm getting them now? I've been re-listening to a podcast I love which had no ads whatsoever even before I had premium, and now all of the sudden ads are everywhere in these episodes.

So what's happening? Why do I pay monthly for something that doesn't even give me what I pay for? I'm thinking of switching apps because this is just frustrating.

I've just signed up to free 3.momyj trial. I certainly won't be subscribing.  I pay for Youtube premium and yes you get the in podcast ads. But it never breaks for normal ads. Go YouTube premium guys. The lack of actual human response and copy and paste answers are surely enough to realise they don't give a dam.

My Question or Issue

I am currently on spotify premium, however I automatically have to listen to an ad pushed by spotify before each listen. I am thinking of cancelling my plan, since clearly paying to receive no ads does not work.

I’m listening to Hungarian podcast in the UK and there are Sky and Barclay’s ads in English, and there is no Sky or Barclay’s in Hungary, so those are definitely not put there by the podcasters.
