Why doesn't Spotify play 320kbps streams on Chromecast Audio?

I'm paying for premium, yet Spotify only streams in 256kbps AAC.

People have been asking about this for ages now.

I agree. For those of us with HiFi systems the 256 kbps is certainly not acceptable. I do hope that Spotify can resolve this.
