Why is 'Lose Yourself (Demo Version) not on ShadyXV?

As the subject says.. why isn't the demo version of Lose Yourself, by Eminem, not on the album? Spotify has every track except that one, doesn't make sense to me.

I actually emailed them to ask about it, but that was two days ago, so I'm assuming they ignored me. Wasn't aware of the community boards at that time.

Every song has to be licensed to be streamed on Spotify, once Spotify can gain the rights to a certain song/album it can be added to the catalog, here is more information 🙂 You can also add feedback about what songs you want to be added to Spotify using this form, but this does not guarantee this will show up on Spotify in the future. Also, you can buy the song from iTunes or a similar store and add the song as a local file and sync it to the Spotify app, here are directions on how to do this. For this case the demo might be exclusive to iTunes, but most of the album is available to stream using this link.
