Is it just me or does the new Zedd & Kesha track "True Colors" play the incorrect version (also titled True Colors) from his 2015 album "True Colors"?
Only seems to play correctly on the web player. This is happening on Win, OS X, and iOS for me. I tried adding the song to a playlist from the web version, which added the song, but still plays the incorrect version when I return to desktop.
Could someone confirm?

Found the issue. Apparently the problem is that it's confusing the local file version (purchased on iTunes) from the original album with the new version. So instead of streaming the new version it thinks that it's the same one so it plays from disk.
Hey @csawyer
The song plays fine for me in the desktop app.
Can you try logging out and then log back in? Does that help?
Also try going to the Zedd artist page in the desktop app. At the top under "latest release" should show the new song.
Click it and try to play it from there. Does that work?
Neither of those worked.
Only difference that may be causing this issue is that I did have the True Colors album added to my music prior to release of the new version, but I'm not sure.
I have most of the album saved too and it's working for me.
Not sure what else you can try

Ah, glad to hear you figured it out.
Well, since the album is on Spotify, you could remove the iTunes version from your local files.
Or you can slighly edit the metadata like maybe add a character to the title or something so that Spotify doesn't think it's the same thing:
Now if only there were a way that I could listen to the new version without having to delete the album version on my hard disk...
Thanks for your help! 🙂
You're welcome
