Your Updates feature

Hello, if you have someone blocked, can they see if you followed them through the “your updates” feature?

Thanks for reaching out on the Community! We've moved your post to a new thread, hope you don't mind.

With the Your Updates feature, users will see notifications related to events, new followers, newly saved playlists, Blends & Jams, podcast comments, etc. Updates shared will be stored for a maximum of 90 days.

Hello again, my question was concerning, if I have someone blocked, but had asked to follow them previously to blocking them, would the notification still show up? Will they be able to see I asked to follow them, even though they are now blocked? If not, how can I make sure that I do not show up in someones notifications. Thank you!

Thanks for reaching out!

Keep in mind that blocking prevents all forms of interaction, so your activity shouldn't appear in the notifications of a blocked user.

The Your Updates feature has been gradually rolling out over the course of November and this is still underway. Is that what you meant or something else? Please elaborate what you're looking for and we'd be happy to clarify and assist.

Hello do all countries have this feature, and does it show you the history of followings from 2025  before this feature was enrolled?

Thanks for joining the thread!

The feature started being rolled out globally (for users on the free version, as well as for users on Premium), but as this is still in progress, it may not be available in certain countries at the moment or for some users. As it's a new feature, you shouldn't see the history of followings before it was released and as we previously mentioned, updates there will be stored for a maximum of 90 days.
