Hey there,
Thanks for posting in the Community.
Could you check if your experience is the same as the one described in this thread and if so, let us know how the steps proposed in the linked thread went for you.
Keep us posted,
Cheers!
I had the same issue but when I opened the Spotify app it asked me did I want to link to Alexa, I clicked yes and it worked. Trying to link it in the Alexa app just gave me the blank page.
Hey @stefarg,
Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.
Just to be on the same page, have you tried the steps in the thread previously mentioned by @Dian? If so, and the issue persists, would you mind mentioning the troubleshooting steps you've done so far?
Lastly, include in your next response the make, model and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running.
We'll be on the lookout.
Hi @OscarDC,
Yes I tried the steps suggested but that did not work for me.
After trying the steps suggested I reopened the Spotify app and it had a prompt asking to connect to Alexa. When I did that it worked.
I am using a Samsung S22 android phone with app version 8.7.68.568
Thanks
Hey @stefarg,
Thank you for your swift response and the info you sent.
Just to be clear, are you still having the issue? Or is it working good after you reconnect them with the prompt you get?
We'll be on the lookout.
Open alexa app, go to more, then go to skill and game, scroll down to spotify click on it and you should be able to enable, took me 3hours to set up zzzz
ur a saint
I had the same issue, I tried several ways to solve the problem but none of them worked for me, so by mistake I entered my Spotify app and I clicked on the settings button, and then I went to section called "Voice Assistants & Apps" and I could link it from there and now it works perfectly.
I had the same issue and just managed to figure it out!!
The Spotify screen in Alexa app wouldn’t work for med it stayed blank. If you go to your Spotify app, go to Settings, Voice Assistants & Apps, there should be a box with Amazon Alexa in it. Click ‘Link’ and it should bring you to the Alexa app and then it worked for me! I had to try it a couple of times as some error came up on my Spotify the first time, if it doesn’t work try uninstall/reinstall.
also before doing this I used a link somewhere on one of these forums to revoke access to Alexa via my Spotify, so you might need to do that first!
I deleted Spotify I redownloaded it, but I still get the blank screen
I also had the same issue and just figured it out! I went to Spotify > Settings > Voice Assistants & Apps and Alexa was already linked, so I clicked to unlink and then clicked again to link, which took me to the Alexa app and finally the Spotify image appeared! Thanks!
I restarted my phone then opened Spotify 1st and clicked link under settings/voice assistant apps and it worked. I was getting a blank white page before I did the restart.
You saved my last nerve cell. I’ll be thankful forever…
So helpful!
Oh my gosh, I've been searching online for HOURS till i got to this page. I can't believe how Amazon mantains that shitty piece of app 😕 and they still don't fix it after almost two years later 😕 embarrassing
I wasn't able to access this post, it gave me a "Access Denied"-screen. However, I solved the problem using the way Link1n suggested.
I did everything everyone suggested.. but for some reason it will not give me the option in the Alexa app or Spotify app to set it as my default music service
Hi,
I got the exact same issue. The problem is about Amazon's portal, not about Spotify.
The solution is the following:
After giving consent to Spotify from the phone, it directs you to pitangui.amazon.com/..... portal but portal does not working. To make it work, you should copy that long url and paste it to a browser from your PC. Now you will be able to see the portal instead of a white blank page. However, there is no Alexa app for the PC for you to push the accept button. The good thing is, if you refresh the blank page in your phone after doing this step, you will be able to see the portal from the phone and you will be able to give consent by clicking the button and opening the alexa app afterwards.
You can thank me later.
