chromecast stops playing or won't play

Hi

I just purchased two chromcasts to use with spotify.

When i press next track a number of times the chromcast simply stops playing, or sometimes i struggle to get it to play in the first place (i have to press play about 5 times).

I have found this google product forum thread which suggest the issue is with spoitify.

I wanted to mvoe away from my sonos system because of a flaw in the spotify API which means playlists show the newest added songs last (annoying when you have over 1000 songs in a playlist).

Can someone from spoitfy comment on either of these issues?

Yes but spotify are currently selectively ignoring this issue. Hence why it needs more posts.

I am currently emailing spotify support in the hope they can help but so far i have had 3 emails from them, in all my responses i included the link you just have and in all of their emails they ignore the link and try to discuss the issue like its something new or just related to me.

Why will they not actually address the issue?
