connect not visible on surface pro 3

I can see both my galaxy S5 and iPod touch on connect but when I try to bring my surface pro 3 in to the mix i Cant see it there. The question is why. Can anybody answer this

At the moment, Spotify Connect isn't available on the public desktop clients... yet. If you're interested in testing new and upcoming features, download the public desktop beta here! 🙂
