iTunes Purchases not playing on Windows Phone

If I purchase a song from iTunes, it shoes up in my local files section of Spotify (on my Windows Laptop).  If I add that song to a playlist, I can see and play the song on my Windows Laptop AND my Android tablet.  However, the song will not even appear on my windows phone. 

How can I get my Windows Phone to see my iTunes songs?  I have tried converting to AAC in iTunes, and converting to MP3, neither of which cause my song to show up on my phone...

The Windows Phone application does not have local file support like the Android application, so unfortunately you can't listen to your mp3's on your Windows Phone device. For playlists you are going to use on Windows Phone, you would need to build those from tracks available in the Spotify catalogue.
