Could you explain in greater detail what's been happening for you exactly and if it's still occurring. If yes, we'd like to get some more info in order to be able to give you some adequate advice and troubleshooting steps to follow. Maybe you could also include a short video recording of the situation so we can take a closer look.  

Make sure that your internet connection is stable. It's also worthwhile restarting the app twice in a row. This may sound odd but it's how the app does a refresh between your account and the servers. See if this will shake things up and make the playback sound normal for you.
