My Question or Issue
The "go to top" button is hidden under the current song playing (or the last item played), and also under the phone controls back-home-close. Can you float the Button up so it's always above the current content playing?
Hey there @DP31,
Thanks for posting this thread and welcome to the Community!
Would you mind sending us a screenshot so we can take a look at how things look like from your end? You can attach it to your next response via the Insert Image option in the post editor.
Does this happen across devices or only on your phone and have you tested with any steps, such as logging out > back in for example?
We'll be on the lookout for your response.
I have this issue too, only on my phone. The UI on tablet/laptop is different and the player is to the side so doesn't cover the button.
On my phone the button is under the player and the search icon so can't be used and needs to sit above the player like it used to.
I have the same issue on my Android with Spotify, latest app version (Feb 26). Been having this issue for a few months.
Hey folks,
Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the conversation.
We appreciate the info you've included in your previous posts. In order to continue investigating this behavior @Jskmr and @Vauxhall, would you mind including in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running?
We'll be on the lookout for your responses.
My Spotify version is 9.0.26.632 and my phone is Huawei Nova 5T, Emui 12.0.0
Hi Oscar,
Hopefully reviving this thread as this problem is occurring for me as well. Signing out has not changed the issue, which looks identical to Jskmr's photo. Spotify version is 9.0.68.632, on a Samsung Galaxy Note 9.
Hey @Quixlotl,
Welcome to the Community and thank you for joining the thread.
We appreciate the info you've added to your reply. Just to make sure we've all bases covered, would you mind Confirming if you've performed a clean reinstall of the app on your phone? If not, we'd recommend following the steps mentioned in this article.
Also, since we couldn't replicate this behavior, could you check on a different device (using your own account) to see if it makes any difference? If you don't have another one available, you can borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.
Lastly, include in your next response the OS version of your device to continue investigating this.
We'll be waiting for your response.
