"Skip to previous" keyboard shortcut triggers the "back" option in Chrome

I mostly use the web player in Chrome; if I try to use the "skip to previous" keyboard shortcut, it also goes back one page in the tab history, which renders the shortcut pretty much unusable.

Hi there @tyllerj,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

You're right! From the Web Player on Google Chrome, the shortcut Skip to previous (Alt ←) opens the previous page from the history of the current tab, instead of performing the action described on Spotify. This is due to the keyboard shortcuts from the browser itself, and it seems they are prioritized over the Spoitify ones.

We understand this is something that should be looked into and we've just passed the feedback to the team in charge, but just as a heads up, we’re not able to confirm when this specific issue will be resolved.

On another note, from the desktop app, we actually have different shortcuts and we've made sure they are working correctly. If you have a chance you can give them a try.

Hope this helps. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
