Hi,
I have a problem with the Spotify app on the Samsung Galaxy Active 2 smartwatch. When I go to the "Your Music" section, both the "Your Collection" and "Your Playlists" menus are broken. They used to show different things but they both only seem to show the same playlists now.
Only 19 playlists show up. As you scroll down another page of items loads, however it just loads the same 19 playlists again and will do so infinitely loading the same page of 19 as you scroll down. It seems the playlists shown are the first 19 you see in "Custom order" on the PC. Frustratingly, pinned playlists aren't shown at all, which is particularly irritating since those are the ones you care most about. This also means you can't play your "Liked Songs".
So in essence there are three issues here:
1) "Your Collection" only shows playlists (I assume it is meant to show e.g. songs and/or albums)
2) "Your Playlists" doesn't show pinned playlists or "Liked Songs"
3) Both only load 1 page of items
I have a Premium account and the device is a Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 with Tizen software version 5.5.0.2. Unfortunately the Spotify app itself does not specify its version number anywhere (going to Settings -> Info just brings up a couple of open source licenses).
Many thanks,
Tom

I cant even get to "your playlists" - they completely took that option away
HAHAHAHHA, LOOK AT THIS! 1, 2, 3 MONTHS, AND THEY DIDN'T FIX THE PROBLEM, no, THEY MADE IT WORSE!
Well, I should applaud the Spotify team, for at least you did something. But one quick question. Does it look like I care about music I've never listened to? When I'm out on an afternoon walk, I listen to music I WANT TO LISTEN TO. Not "Ramadan pop". Seriously, you guys, I've literally deleted my jogging playlist because I never use it again.
FYI, not everyone listens to pop. Youngblood like me who enjoy heavy metal exist, so it kind of annoys me a bit that among the genre options that exist, "metal" is not one of them. Just sayin', but my opinion doesn't really matter much, now does it?
That's exactly what my watch has done, it used to say "your music" and "Download"
Now they're forcing me to look at stuff I have no interest in,
Why won't they fix it?
Has anyone been given feedback as to wether or not this will be fixed and when?
My watch was working fine up until an update last week, why are they even updating for Tizen of its discontinued?
Also I use a fitness app on my Gear S3 that is no longer available so I can't change watches, I like my watch how it is I just want the music player to work
What I can do is just download all my music from a provider and send it to the watch,
I just want to here someone official from Spotify tell me it's not being fixed, then I can move on.
I don't understand why they would release an update that takes away existing features. Very bad management.
The most frustrating part is when I contact them it's like an AI responding that says try switching off watch, reinstalling app, logging in and out, etc.
When I showed them images of the problem they asked for a video, when I asked how to send the video they said email,
You can't email a 2 minute long video that shows the problem so it's a ridiculous request,
I asked of they have a drop box and no response.
**bleep**
Maybe they will fix this if enough people complain
Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Spotify Community!
Can you try reinstalling the app on both devices? It's also worth re-pairing the watch with your phone to see if that does the trick. It would also be great if you could check for any pending OS updates for your devices.
Let us know how it goes.
Take care

My Question or Issue
For the past 3 years I have been able to transfer spotify downloaded music from my premium account to my watch over home WiFi.
In the past few weeks I have lost that option. The spotify on my watch has changed completely with only options from spotify ie no choice of my downloads, library, liked songs.
Also gone is the option to toggle between standalone and remote.
I have:
Deleted spotify app from from watch and my phone.
Cleared cache on both.
Used a different phone to connect the watch through Samsung wearable(which is a necessity to control the watch)
Logout of both watch and phone
Switched them both off waited a while then switched on
Reloaded spotify apps to both( not restore)
Spotify on the phone is as it was , working normally
Spotify app on watch still does not give me any of my libraries or choices
Its driving me crazy!
I use spotify offline on the watch for running and was the reason to get the watch.
Now it's utterly useless, can't get a fix out of samsung or spotify( this is my 2nd time on this question)
Help would be greatly appreciated as surely I'm not the only on?????
Please add liked songs back. I need them to work. I don't care what you remove to make that work. I don't want to go to Tidal.
Galaxy watch 3 SM-R845U Tizen Version 5.5.0.2 Spotify Version (according to Galaxy store in phone) version 2.5.44. Region USA.
Has anyone tried searching for their Playlist name? Once you search, scroll down to the playlist section. Open your playlist and download the tracks to the watch. You can then listen to the songs offline once the playlist remains open.
This was the first thing I tried and it doesn't work, I even renamed a playlist with a complex set of numbers and searched those numbers and it refused to find if, and when I picked a soundtrack that I did like and downloaded it when I went offline it wouldn't find it to play it becuase you can't search for it, I have to carry my phone all the time to listen to music, the watch won't even work as a remote anymore.
It worked for me via the widget on home screen as it kept the last playlist open. I have turned the watch off & back on and it still works. It's only a work around obviously. Still not good enough from Spotify.
Frustrating.
Apparently emailing support at spotify could help, if everyone messages them with the exact same description of the problem with the correct information on they may get the message and work on a fix, they are otherwise completely ignoring this.
