saved albums have disappeared replaced by albums in the list that aren't saved

Today I opened my album lists and there are a load of albums by people I've never heard of and none of my own saved albums. When I tried to unsave the new albums I just get the option to save them not to remove them, as they haven't been saved at all and have just appeared my saved album list for some reason. I saved another album and it worked fine and was given the option to remove it.  Ideally I would like to get all my old albums back that I saved, but if not I would at least like to remove these 'unremovable' albums from the list. Thanks for any help you can give!
