spotify connect without wifi?

Im a Premium user and I want to use Spotify Connect buying a pioneer av receiver vsx-529-k.

At home I can not use WIFI. I have a wired router.

I know that pioneer receiver get audio stream directly from the spotify servers but ...

Can I manage audio from my android phone without WIFI???  can I use phone data connection???

You need to connect the devices first, over wifi. I think After doing that, connect will work over mobile data too.

It should work if your receiver and phone are on the same network (regardless if one is WiFi'd and the other is cabled to the router).
