At one-point Jazz was synonymous with popular music, the Swing Era (roughly 1935-1945) being its peak in popularity and than starting with the be-bop era it started to fall away from popular music. The Crooners helped it still have some voice in popular music but when Rock & Roll came around that even died. Though nothing truly ever dies and this mix is a testament that even though “Jazz” isn’t apart of popular music anymore the “horns” we associate so much with jazz has continued to show up in one way or another and this mix is a collection of some of those examples.

It ranges from 50’S – 00’S, from Little Richard to Lady Gaga.  To make this mix unique I’ve included  hugely well known tracks with the obscure ones,  so enjoy.
