Hey guys,
I've been making record label playlists for a while now to create an overview and archive collection of one record label. It's not that hard to do, just type:"labelname" in the search box and you can view the label releases. The hardest part is to copy/paste all the albums one by one in one list. Because the tracks that are shown when you view the results list is not a complete list. For example, i made a Soul Jazz Records list. I collected 621 tracks, but when i look at the results list there's only 100 tracks.
Anyway, here is the first playlist on Evasion Disques, a swiss record label. Founded by Gaston Schaefer and François Vautier. I have only included there releases from the 70s, french pop, psychedelica and jazz.

@Soundofus Great website by that record label, enjoyed reading it. 🙂
I'm always looking for new Playlist ideas and this is a great one. I feel like I should have thought of it before but I'm glad, though I didn't, you did.
@JESquare You can always make metal record label playlists!
Denovali Records is an independent music label founded in 2005. Not confined to a specific genre the program of Denovali varies from experimental, ambient, drone, eletronica to jazz, modern composition & sound art. Artwork and packaging are considered to be as essential for a release as the music – the combination of both is meant to result in a coherent piece of art.
I have one for the Ipecac Recordings!

@Jazzwhatever do you take a track from every release, how do you go about it?
@JESquare I add every album from the label, so people can choose their own favorites. It's more like an archive or backcatalogue.
Spotlight on one of my favourite label :
This is Daptone Records :
Daptone Records is and independent Soul, Funk record label based in Brooklyn, New York. They have built their own studio "Daptone's House of Soul". The equipment of the studio is only analogic which gives this particular sound recognizable on every recording made there.
A part of what we commonly call "The Brooklyn Soul" (the new old school) has been recorded there. Among their numerous artists, we can name Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings, Charles Bradley, The Budos Band.

Tip : if you have the opportunity, to get the best of the Daptone's sound, I recommend to listen the vinyl version of each album..
To notice : the album "Back To Black" of Amy Winehouse has been recorded at Daptone Studio.

Thank you for listening!
Thanks for sharing those playlists. One comment, the idea of the label spotlight playlist was to collect all albums of a certain record label. So listeners can browse and pick out their own favorites. You have 'just' made a personalised overview of your best tracks of a label.
