Roots Rock/Americana Playlist

Building up a playlist for roots rock and americana that mixes established bands -- Alabama Shakes, Dawes, Reckless Kelly, My Morning Jacket -- with independent artists with a similar vibe. Alt rock, blues, folk rock, R&B, Soul all welcome if they have some connection to roots.

It's a well-curated list with pace and flow. Still needs to grow a little. 

So, looking for similar playlists to mine for music ideas and bands with similar music who'd like to be included and are willing to stream the list and like/save their fellow indie songs on the list.

We've gone from 12 followers to 36 our first week, and plan to promote and grow the list. Hope you will get on board.

Thanks for submitting this song. Fabulous art. It's not right for this playlist, but if you are cool with streaming, I may be able to offer you something else. I'm part of a streaming group in which we put together 8-song playlists with 1 (or 2 or 3) of our own songs and the rest by similar famous artists. There's about 10 of us, and we all stream each other's lists at least twice a week. The hope is that regular streaming of our own songs along with well-know artists in a similar style will help us get more algorithmic play on Spotify. It seems to have helped me.
