Really nice stuff Bud! Enjoyed that. The atmospheric guitar on the one I'm listening to now is great.

Which bands are you into? Are you a fan of the Allman Brothers and things like that?

You guessed it! Allman Brothers, Steely Dan, Tom Waits, lots of stuff. How about you? What do you listen to the most now and is it different from what you were listening to five years ago?

I love Steely Dan as well. For the solo stuff, it's mostly John Martyn, Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell and things like that which I listen to.

I've been in several bands though, playing quite different music - rock/funk/blues/indie and that's inspired by the Allman Brothers, Cream, Parliament-Funkadelic etc. I also listen to Gary Clarke jr. (a more current artist) and went to a few gigs of his in the US actually (I'm UK based).

I'm mostly listening to the same stuff - it's hard to get out there and find things because when I do get time to listen, it's probably local music (same city) that I'm searching out.

I know what you mean. I played mostly in bands when I was younger and did all of the cool cover stuff- Yes, Boston, Kansas, Allman Bros- the last 12 years or so I've been doing mostly solo shows and it's a different game. I do a ton of my own music live but I do a wider variety of cover tunes than I did before. I've also got a trio that averages two gigs a month (me with a bass player and drummer) that plays mostly blues and originals in bars and another band that only plays outdoor shows in the summer at city parks and such playing classic rock covers. https://youtu.be/35pNHh148uU
