Hiya, I'd like to present to you two very different artist suggestions. One has a new album coming out while the other is... well, the other is someone who hasn't done much to expose themselves online besides being presented online for years:
My first artist suggestion is World5, they're a rock/pop group from Reno, Nevada. They have a new single out ("Be You") and they have a few albums already on Spotify. They haven't done much to promote on Spotify but their About page is all set up and such:
The second group is called Gypsy Star, they're from the Tampa Bay area in Florida. They have a unique sound but in general, they are adult contemporary/soft rock/folk. I can't point to their sound specifically, maybe it's a Latin flavor, maybe it's the Carribean. It's unique though. If they'd fit on your playlists remains to be seen though:
I'm following up with another artist recommendation. They're truly just recording artists as they are all on different continents:
Lucy, Raquel and Me are a pop group -- ne being a lyricist, one the composer/performer, the other a vocalist. They're basically an example of the Internet at work as they're in Australia, France, and California. Their story, alone, is worth attention. Their music is too IMHO.
We are not really a traditional band. Its a bunch of old washed up 50 year old guys and my phenom 14 year old son who plays drums/bass/guitar (whatever he wants for that song) and writes all the music. I write all the lyrics and sing. We have a recording studio in the basement and record non-stop. All my son wants to do is write songs and eat pizza.
