Hey all,

World music, what do i mean by it? Traditional music from other countries than the western world (europe/usa).

I have found quite a big playlist not made by me with 9k+ songs. It's great to put it on shuffle.

I hope you have some interesting world music playlists too.

Nice Idea, but I don't like the term "World Music", it always seemed ignorant to me.

There was a nice article about this in the Guardian some time ago which sums up my thoughts about this very well.

I agree with that article, but how to categorise traditional music from polynesia? I don't know a better genre term for now.
