How to Remove My CapCut Podcast from My Website

Hello everyone,

I hope you're all doing well. I've been running a podcast titled "AI and the Future of Music Creation on Spotify" on my website.  It includes three episodes:

  1. Beyond the Beat: The Spotify Revolution - How Streaming Reshaped Music
  2. Dive into Spotify Premium Mod Apk and Its Features with SpotiMax
  3. [Third episode]

However, I've decided to remove this podcast series from my website. I'm using [your website platform/CMS, e.g., WordPress, Wix, etc.], and I'm not entirely sure how to go about this.

Could someone guide me through the steps to remove the podcast content from my site? Specifically, I need to know:

  1. How to delete the podcast episodes from the media library.
  2. How to remove the podcast links and references from the pages.
  3. Any additional steps to ensure the content is completely removed and no longer accessible.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance!

Loved this breakdown of Spotify’s latest features — it’s wild how much music streaming has changed how we experience new artists. Lately, I’ve been more mindful of subscription costs (they really add up 😅), so I’ve been comparing prices across different services and even restaurants. Random, I know — but I found this handy site for checking menu prices that's been surprisingly helpful when budgeting everything out. Worth a look if you're balancing streaming, food, and fun on a tight budget like me!

Hey Adam, totally get where you're coming from — cleaning up old content can be a bit tricky depending on your platform, but it’s smart to be thorough!

If you’re using WordPress, here’s a quick breakdown:

  1. Remove the Episodes from the Media Library:

    • Go to your dashboard > Media > Library.

    • Find the podcast audio files and click “Delete Permanently” (you may need to switch to "List View" to find them more easily).

  2. Remove Links & Embeds from Pages or Posts:

    • Navigate to Pages or Posts, then search for the ones containing your podcast episodes.

    • Edit each page and remove any audio embeds, links, or descriptions related to the podcast.

    • Update the pages afterward.

  3. Clear Caches (if you use a caching plugin):

    • If you have a plugin like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache, clear your site cache to make sure changes are reflected.

  4. Check for External Embeds:

    • If your episodes were embedded via an external player (like Spotify or Spreaker), make sure to remove the embed code — deleting just the audio file won’t remove the player.

  5. Update or Remove the Podcast Feed (if applicable):

    • If your podcast was distributed via RSS feed, make sure that feed is also disabled or unpublished if you don’t want the episodes publicly accessible anymore.

Let me know what platform you’re using if it’s not WordPress — happy to tailor the steps!
Note: I worked with the Cookout Menu blog and applied these changes, and it worked perfectly!
