“New episodes” feed potentially loosing functionality

I’m really hoping it’s just a glitch on my phone app but I noticed in the “new episodes” feed, it no longer says “played” if you listened to an episode already in that feed.  Please stop removing practical functionality from the ui. Has anyone else run into this?  To me this is as frustrating as not being able to see which songs you already liked.
